Dedicated Third-Grade Instruction
Our third-grade students follow a separate, age-appropriate Bible curriculum led by a dedicated third-grade teacher.
Details about the current third-grade study will be shared as they become available.
The Lord’s Prayer — Matthew 6:9–13
Our fourth-grade students are studying the Lord’s Prayer, examining Jesus’ teaching phrase by phrase. Students practice memorizing the prayer during each gathering so they can remember the words of Scripture.
Our Father in Heaven
Students learn the Gospel and how, through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, believers become children of God and can call Him Father.
Holy Is Your Name
God’s name reflects His character and holiness. Students learn why we honor and glorify Him.
Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done
We pray for Christ’s future earthly kingdom and for opportunities to share the Gospel so others may enter His spiritual kingdom now and share in His coming kingdom.
Give Us Our Daily Bread
Students learn to depend on God for their daily needs and recognize His provision.
Forgive Us Our Debts
God offers forgiveness through Christ and calls those He has forgiven to forgive others.
Lead Us Not Into Temptation
Students learn to ask God for guidance away from temptation and deliverance from evil.
Ask Me Anything (AMA) Days
Alternating with structured fourth-grade lessons, our Ask Me Anything sessions invite students to ask their own questions about the Bible, God, and the Christian faith in an open-microphone format.
These discussions create opportunities to respond thoughtfully to students’ questions using Scripture.
Can You Answer These Questions?
During our Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions, fourth-grade students ask their own questions about God, the Bible, and the Christian faith. Here are ten questions they have asked. How would you answer them?
- How do we know the Bible is true?
- If someone is good, do they go to heaven?
- Who made God?
- Why does the Bible have so many different books?
- Who killed Jesus?
- Does the original Bible still exist?
- How did God write the Bible? Did God write it on the first day?
- Did Adam and Eve create everybody? Are all people related?
- When will Jesus come back?
- How do we know that's actually what Jesus said?
Questions are presented without identifying individual students. Some wording has been lightly standardized for readability.
Parent Resources: Explore Their Questions
Some of our students’ questions are addressed directly in these adult-level resources. Each article or podcast below is paired only with a question it specifically discusses. These are optional resources for family study, not required student lessons.
Question 2: If someone is good, do they go to heaven?
Article: The Holy Spirit & Salvation — Explains why salvation comes through Jesus Christ rather than our own righteousness.
Question 3: Who made God?
Article: Does God Exist? — Directly addresses why Christians believe God is eternal, self-existent, and uncreated.
Question 6: Does the original Bible still exist?
Podcast: Biblical Manuscripts — Explores biblical manuscripts and how the text was transmitted through history.
Question 7: How did God write the Bible? Did God write it on the first day?
Podcast: Bible Translations — Inspiration and Authority — Discusses how Scripture was inspired by God and written through human authors.
For the Lord’s Prayer Lessons
Podcast: How to Pray — Nathan and Zack discuss the Lord’s Prayer, the focus of our fourth-grade Bible study.
Other student questions are intentionally left without links until a resource addressing that specific question is available. Articles are published by The Way Church; podcast episodes are from The Living Logos. These are supplementary parent resources, not Impact School Ministries lesson materials.
